Sheridah has grown up around race tracks for most of her life, attending her 1st Bathust 1000 at an age of 3 years. She has attended most major Australian tracks as pitcrew or support crew or as a spectator over the years.
Pitcrew and support crew involvement include Group C Historic Touring Cars, Club Racing, Rally Sprints, GoKarts, Heritage Touring Cars and a variety of Road Cars
Sheridah has worked in the automotive industry for many years and has been recently promoted to Kia Service Manager. Whilst also assistant service manager for Holden and Mitsubishi at a multi brand car dealership.
Furthermore Sheridah doesn't mind getting her hands dirty either, doing most of the work maintaining & repairing her Twin Turbo R32GTR Nissan Skyline, having grown up tinkering & working on cars including V8 Falcon GT's, John Goss Specials & various Nissan Skylines. Sheridah enjoys all aspects of motorsport, its in her blood. In summary her passion is huge with a personality to match.
For her 25th birthday she decided to buy a Twin Turbo R32 GTR Nissan Skyline and soon realized that it may be a bit too quick for the road, so she spent the next 6 months prepping it to race hillclimbs in
the
road registered class.
In April 2015 Sheridah double entered her GTR with her father at Huntley Hill Climb's Come & Try day. Sheridah's 1st run was 34.55, with a best run of 29.61, which positioned her 5th fastest out of 26 Come & Try entrants. She also placed fastest woman on the day. A rather successful 1st race meeting as a driver. Now Sheridah has her Cams License she is ready to drive at as many tracks as possible.
Further 2015 Results
June 2015 Huntley Hill Climb Best run 28.73 (Personal Best). 4th in class, 13th outright from 43 entrants.
Nov 2015 Huntley Hill Climb, Best run 29.21 on a slippery track, backed up with a wet run of 32.79 which positioned her 3rd in class and 11th outright from 30 entrants and Fastest woman on the day.
December 2015 Wakefield Park on a 40 Deg day in her R32 GTR (with an unhappy car due to excessive heat)
In summary for 2015 Sheridah has proved herself as a driver being smooth, fast, dedicated and focused on her goals.
For 2016 Sheridah has her eyes set on a HillClimb Championship, a Hillclimb at Mt Panorama, some laps at Sydney Motorsport Park and some faster laps at Wakefield Park.
