Karting
is the worlds most affordable form of motorsport and is popular with young drivers as well as adults.
Males and Females of all ages can enjoy this sport with children as young as 7 years old competing behind the wheel. Karting teaches these children basic driving skills well before they are able to obtain their road licence, which in turn makes them much safer and advanced drivers when it becomes time for them to start using our public roads.
Karting is competitive, fun and family orientated, with involvement in the sport both on and off the track. It also offers competitors an opportunity to gain a career in motorsport, all in a safe and organized environment.
Karting is considered the first step in any serious racing drivers career. It can prepare the driver for high speed wheel to wheel racing by developing quick reflexes, precision car control, kart set up, mechanical and decision making skills.
Kart meetings happen at race tracks right across Australia every weekend and are of club, regional, state or national level meetings.
